Hello everyone! Rose (aka InklingsOfOblivion) here!
How are you all? After a little hiatus, Powerful Writing is back Did you miss us? This week, we're going to have a mini-contest featuring a prompt. Or as I like to say, PROMPTEST.
The theme for this prompt focuses on the nitty gritty of a dramatic scene, and developing showing not telling in story writing. Here, we'd like you to take a snapshot of a scene, and give it your undivided attention. Write a short piece that creates a still-life implying a dramatic moment. Overturned chair, papers everywhere, a particular stance. Do not describe what happened before or after this snapshot, imply it with the description.
