Deviation Actions
First and foremost, I would like to apologize for the inactivity of the group. It's completely ridiculous. But I have a lot to critiue and i don't know where my admins are hiding. So I'd like to bring on some new ones.
General Contributor Expectations
Contributor applications will be considered and voted on by all of the current admins. Before applying, make you you understand what it is we'll be asking you to do.
Welcome new members.
Critiques!
Help to plan prompts and other events.
Devote a good amount of time to the group.
The Application Process
Each application should be sent via note to the group. If you have issues sending a note to the group, go ahead and send your application via note to MadHat11D6. We will let you know via note that your application has been received and we will tell you our decision (hopefully) within a week.
What is your experience with administrating groups (or judging a contests, or any leadership role etc.)?
This is just so we know how how much we'll need to teach you or how much your time might be split if you admin in other groups as well.
How often are you on dA?
So we know about how much time you can put into the group. It doesn't need to be a huge amount.
What kinds of pieces do you find are easiest for you to critique?
Please link us to an example of a fairly recent critique you've given on a literature piece.
Tell us about yourself
The admins in this group work well together because we are very familiar with each other. Tell us a little bit about you so we can start to build familiarity with you as well!
What do you believe to be the strongest piece in your gallery?
Give us a link!
Thanks!

Prompt!
Hello everyone! Rose (aka InklingsOfOblivion) here!
How are you all? After a little hiatus, Powerful Writing is back :la: Did you miss us? This week, we're going to have a mini-contest featuring a prompt. Or as I like to say, PROMPTEST.
The Theme
The theme for this prompt focuses on the nitty gritty of a dramatic scene, and developing showing not telling in story writing. Here, we'd like you to take a snapshot of a scene, and give it your undivided attention. Write a short piece that creates a still-life implying a dramatic moment. Overturned chair, papers everywhere, a particular stance. Do not describe what happened before or after

I hate winter this winter. more later maybe.
I have seen this group founder and detest such carnage. I'd hoped others would pick up the slack since I can be a flake at times. It seems, however, that I am only as much of a flake as the next person.
I have 2 questions:
* Help to plan prompts and other events.
Do I have to attend and participate in such events? they often happen when I am not able to attend.
* Devote a good amount of time to the group
by percentage, how much of my existing time here is expected to be consumed by this? or by minimum hours per week?
ok, fine, that's 3; but the last 2 are sort-of one-or-the-other. still, if you haven't had multiple-essay tests, I suppose you wouldn't understand.
